We are two retirees living our shared dream to wander and explore the world in our BAT.
What is BAT, you may ask? Before naming our expedition vehicle, we knew it was going to be a massive modified military truck, so we affectionately referred to it as “Big Ass Truck!” and the name stuck with us ever since. Funny note, when we came home with this truck, my daughter called me “Mother Trucker!”
After several decades of being in corporate America, cooped up inside big buildings, speaking in acronyms that only insiders can understand, we finally reached the golden age of retirement and pursue our dreams, one by one, checking off the list of places to see, things to do, people to visit, and so on….
