Pacific Northwest ++

Note: This page was originally named Arctic Ocean (maybe not), however, we were not able to cross the Canadian border back in 2020 so it got renamed to Pacific Northwest ++.

This trip was planned for early April, 2020, right after Easter. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we were stuck for several months, and finally set off in early July as shelter in place and travel restrictions lifted.

We’ve been hovering in the Pacific Northwest slowly making our way north while waiting for the Canadian border to reopen, however, every month they’ve been announcing the date is pushed out for another month so this destination of Tuktoyaktuk may not be a reality this year…. stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the date.

But in the meantime, you can read about our progress north by state.

In the end we were not allowed to cross into Canada and travel to the arctic as originally planned. Nevertheless ~7,700 miles was a heck of a trip!
